As soon as my time was up I was out the door and on my way home, excitement growing steadily.

Rise Against have posted the video for their cover of Bob Dylan’s blues classic, “Ballad Of Hollis Brown.” The original was released in 1964 on The Times They Are A-Changin’ and the cover was Rise Against’s contribution to Chimes of Freedom: Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.

12 Year Old Lands a 1080 – Skateboarding

A trick thats eluded some of the best names in the skateboarding industry, the likes of Tony Hawk and Bob Burnquist….

GrindTV reports that Schaar became one of just a handful of skaters to land a 900 last October. The young skater has made the 900 a routine trick during competitions and has landed it more than 50 times to date. With the 900 under control, Schaar set his eyes on skating history and started working on the 1080.

Smashing Pumpkins ~ New Album Release

The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed the release their latest album entitled, ‘Oceania’ on 18 June 2012.

The will be the band’s seventh studio album, and has been produced by singer Billy Corgan, described as an “album within an album” as it is part of their 44-song cycle for ‘Teargarden By Kaleidyscope’.

The album will be put out by EMI, after they signed a deal

KZN Gigs Arts and Culture Productions have gathered four fantastic reggae bands to be part of the South Coast Reggae Tour on 30 and 31 March. The Rasta music starts at Rock Bottom Pub and Grill in Umzumbe at 7pm and moves to Harding Town Hall on Saturday where the bands will play from 6:30.
